Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the Job

Are you ready to make a difference in the world of pharma and single use technology? As our Single Use & Pharma Project Manager at Alfa Laval in Kolding, you’ll play a key role in driving impactful projects that shape the future of our R&D initiatives.

You’ll collaborate across engineering, quality, compliance, and commercial teams, ensuring the successful delivery of compliant pharma products. Your work will have a direct impact on our business and the lives of our customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead large, complex R&D projects with a focus on pharma and single use initiatives, ensuring structured execution and clear ownership
  • Facilitate collaboration across engineering, quality, compliance, and commercial teams to deliver innovative solutions
  • Involvement in quality assurance, validation, and documentation processes specific to pharma.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and ISO 13485 standards, passing internal and external audits
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders, including other business units, fostering strong relationships and effective communication
  • Manage all aspects of projects, including scope, time, budget, resources, and risk
  • Conduct steering committee meetings and generate essential project documentation
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management in a complex, cross-business unit environment
  • Contribute insights to enhance our project model and support ongoing pharma initiatives
  • Take responsibility for decision-making and resource management within defined frames and budgets

What You Know
We’re looking for candidates who bring a blend of expertise, technical skills, and a passion for innovation:

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally within R&D, pharma, or medical devices
  • Skilled in complex stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and agile execution
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., Prince2, Scrum, Lean, Agile) is a plus
  • Technical experience, preferably as an engineer
  • Experience working in large organizations and cross-functional teams
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or other STEM fields
  • English language skills at a business level, both written and verbal

Who You Are
You are a collaborative team player who thrives in large organizations and complex environments. You value diversity and inclusion, and you’re adept at working across business units and functions. Proactive and structured, you’re driven by finding optimal solutions and delivering results. Your communication skills and big-picture mindset help you manage diverse stakeholders and keep projects on track. You embrace challenges, adapt to change, and are motivated by personal and professional growth.
