Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

Background

Are you ready to empower teams, drive digital transformation, and make a real impact at a global industrial leader? Alfa Laval is seeking a passionate Scrum Master to join our high-performing team - part of our dynamic digital organization reshaping how we deliver value to customers worldwide. At Alfa Laval, we’re on a transformative digital journey. With over 500 digital professionals across the globe, we’re advancing product lifecycle management, configuration, and supply chain capabilities. Our ambition: deliver the right solutions to our customers - faster, smarter, and more sustainably.

Since 2021, we’ve embraced the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), fostering agile mindsets across every part of our business. Now, we’re deepening this transformation, building collaborative teams that learn, adapt, and grow together.

About the Team and Your Role

You’ll join a skilled team of 14 professionals - including developers, testers, a Product Owner, and an Azure DevOps specialist. The team operates in a hybrid setup, with most members based in Lund, Sweden. As our new Scrum Master, you’ll be at the heart of a mature, collaborative, and driven team. You’ll facilitate agile ways of working, nurture a culture of continuous improvement, and help the team excel in delivering high-quality solutions. You’ll partner closely with the Product Owner and the development team - removing obstacles, supporting incident management, and enabling smooth, value-driven delivery. This role is hybrid and based in Lund, Sweden (2–3 days per week onsite required).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the team’s progress towards sprint and project goals

  • Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)

  • Encourage pragmatic, people-first agile adoption (not just ‘by the book’)

  • Support the Product Owner in backlog management and incident tracking

  • Foster collaboration within the team and across value streams, especially as we integrate with major projects

  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and participate in ART (Agile Release Train) events and ceremonies

Who You Are

  • People-oriented, open-minded, and genuinely passionate about Scrum Master area of responsibilities

  • 1–3 years of recent, hands-on Scrum Master experience (ideally with cross-functional teams)

  • Experience in IT delivery or software development is a plus, as is a background in Azure DevOps

  • Familiar with SAFe and agile ceremonies, but flexible - adapting practices to what works best for the team

  • Strong communicator and facilitator, able to navigate a complex, global organization

  • Eager to learn, grow, and help your team succeed

  • Experience in manufacturing or data-driven environments is nice to have, but not required
