Alfa Laval Turkey is looking for a passionate Senior Sales Engineer to be a part of Energy Division, to help our industrial process customers to meet their sustainability goals especially on water re-use, waste reduction and  Zero Liquid Discharge.

About the job:

Reporting to Division Manager, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities within Turkiye and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval separation portfolio within industrial process application areas.

Who you are:

  • You have a technical equipment sales experience of 5+ years to industrial plants and you are looking for a long term and evolving career opportunity
  • You are solution-driven, task and result-oriented person with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • You have a structured approach, and you are ready to learn, collaborate and go the extra mile to make things happen. You are comfortable with people and excellent at networking
  • You are passionate about what you do and have a genuine interest in making a positive impact on environmental challenges.
  • You have an Engineering Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Environmental, Mining, Mechanical or Chemical)
  • As part of a global organization, in addition to Turkish, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval solutions.
  • Selecting and configuring the best separation (both mechanical and thermal) solutions matching our customers’ needs
  • Drive all stages of the sales process, technically and commercially, directly to end users or through agents and distributors
  • Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behaviour and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets.
  • Look for and manage leads from the market and customers, and convert them in real business opportunities in other to ensure the pipeline
  • Be active in the market and focus on making frequent visits (domestic), meetings and interactions to customers focusing on customer needs, understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services
  • Runs the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools
  • Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions
  • Availability for travel up to 50% of time.
