About The Job

Working within the Ocean Division in the UK & Ireland Sales Company, as a Service Sales Support Coordinator you will play a key role in promoting and selling Alfa Laval products and services. You’ll provide essential support for our account managers and customers, ensuring their needs are met with speed, accuracy, and a proactive approach. Due to the nature of the role, there may be a requirement for occasional travel to meet with the team physically periodically.

The successful candidate should be located in our UK Head Office (Camberley, Surrey).

Key tasks:

· Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services.

· Providing a key support for sales teams to enable fast and accurate response times.

· Submit field service price lists/quotes to customers and follow-up.

· Provide reports and data uploads for frame agreements and contract management.

· Support the account manager with quote generation for frame agreements, large quotes and technical (non-complex) quotes.

· Follow-up frame/fleet agreements, ensuring call-off orders, change orders and pricing adjustments are applied correctly.

· Work with the parts sales team to identify upselling opportunities from parts requests and convert these into actionable leads for the account manager.

· Register warranty claims within defined scopes.

· Work proactively and collaboratively within and across teams to optimise sales efficiency.

· Use CRM and other tools consistently and effectively to support the sales process and decision-making, setting standards of excellence for yourself in use of tools, processes, programs & resources. Adopt and implement future tools and systems as needed.

· Ensure compliance with sanctions and export control requirements.

· Drive excellence and efficiency in terms of own performance, responsiveness and data analysis to improve ways of working and benefit the customer experience.

What You Know

· Excellent English written and verbal communication is a pre-requisite.

· A high level of digital competence, not only with Microsoft Office programs, but also with other communication and collaboration tools.

· A passion and drive for data, trends, analysis and digitalisation.

· Commercial or Merchant Marine industry knowledge or experience is an advantage, as is knowledge of equipment relevant to the marine industry.
