About the Job  

At Alfa Laval, our Global Sales & Service (GSS) organization is looking for a Vice President Marketing to drive, motivate, and inspire our global marketing organization, as our previous VP has taken on an exciting new opportunity within the company. In GSS, our marketing focus is dedicated to strategic market insight, works  closely with our Sales & Service  organization to ensure full funnel management and customer experience powered by digital innovation.  

  

As the VP Marketing  in GSS Alfa Laval, you will report to the EVP GSS, who is part of the Group Management Team, and you will be a key member of the GSS Management Team. Your primary mission is to ensure that the Marketing function continues its transformation to be a true business enabler that provides top-tier  expertise  and execution to the line of business, to drive  growth.

You will act as the vital bridge between the GSS marketing teams and the Marketing & Communication functions across our three business divisions (Energy, Food & Pharma and Ocean) and the Group.  You will  directly manage  a  core team of  ca 10 professionals  in  the different  disciplines and  provide  the functional  expertise  to  set the agenda of the regional marketing organizations.  And you will be instrumental in  creating direction, connection  and  co-drive the strong regional and local marketeers in our  9 Regions and 21 Sales Companies (ca. 130 colleagues) 

  

 

Key Responsibilities:  

 - Strategic Alignment & Planning: Support business managers in creating robust business plans to ensure double-digit growth. Ensure local  regions  have  marketing  plans that align with both local needs and central Business Division strategies.  

 

-Digital Customer Journey: Define strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and boost sales.   

 

-Funnel  Management: Own and optimize the end-to-end lead-to-opportunity management process (creation, qualification, and follow-up) to accelerate commercial growth.  

 

Market Insight & Business Analysis: Systematically collect and analyze market data to extract relevant insights to drive key business decisions. Provide governance and platforms for business managers to make data-driven decisions.  

 

- Drive improvements in Alfa Laval’s commercial discipline and approach.  

 

- Take the GSS role in the company-wide  Marketing Board that has  the  functional  oversight of  the marketing related areas  across  the Group.
