Who you are：

We are looking Electrical Hardware Engineer for our Business Unit Heat & Gas Systems (BU HGS) Qingdao Marine site. As an Electrical Hardware Engineer, you are working in our Engineering & Supply (E&S) organization, and you are part of Automation Engineering team. You are working in order execution of capital sales and service projects in marine business. You are working with electrical systems and components for boiler, burner, heater, gas combustion units, exhaust gas cleaning products. Your main task is to make the electrical hardware design for our control system. You will ensure that electrical design and components fit to the project specific requirements before handing over to customer, classification, purchasing and manufacturing. You will be the link between our project team, panel builder, classification authority and FAT testing team. You are reporting locally to Team Leader of Automation Engineering team. You are closely working with E&S colleagues in Europe & China, project teams & Alfa Laval’s sales companies & suppliers in Northeast Asia and our factory in Qingdao.

To succeed in this position, you have electrical engineer background and experience form electrical engineering. You have good organizing, co-ordination and communication skills. You are cooperative and able to communicate in fluent English.

What you know：

• Your educational background (M.Sc./B.Sc.) from electrical or automation engineering, or a comparable technical background
• You have a basic understanding of electrical components, instruments, control panels and control systems
• Familiar with electrical hardware design and design software like Eplan
• Familiar with building of electrical control panels and PLC-based control systems

• You are active, systematic and structured in your work.
• You are team player, and you have ability to co-ordinate between different stakeholders
• You are flexible and positive to changes
• Good English skill both oral and written

About the job：

• Safety is priority in all our work. You ensure that our designs are compliant and according to rules and regulations.
• Responsible of electrical hardware design for our control system and building control panels to our systems.
• You ensure that electrical design and components fit to the project specific requirements before handing over to customer, classification, purchasing and manufacturing
• Guide, train and support our panel builder when they are building our panels.
• Participate and support in panel’s FAT testing
• Deliver your tasks to internal and external stakeholders on time.
• Communicate and co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

We appreciate

• Experience and knowledge from boiler systems and/or exhaust gas cleaning systems for Marine Industry
• Experience and knowledge from marine / shipbuilding industry, marine standards and marine class requirements
