About The Job
As an Experienced Controller with an IT mindset, you will be part of a dynamic and skilled finance team, supporting financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance processes, while acting as a key link between Finance, IT and the business. You will have a central role in maintaining and improving our financial system landscape, ensuring alignment with global standards, and enabling businesses with reliable data and tools. With a strong understanding of financial ecosystems and internal controls, you will contribute to both daily operations and long-term transformation initiatives.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the efficient local setup and maintenance of financial IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Medius, Solver, BI tools) to support reporting, forecasting, and compliance.
Taking part in monthly financial reporting and forecasting activities, including real estate controlling and financial follow-up on investment and maintenance projects.
Leading local compliance activities, including internal controls, authorization guidelines, system access rights, and coordination with internal and external audits.
Acting as a key contributor to finance and IT transformation projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and tools.
Supporting sustainability reporting by coordinating local data for CSRD in collaboration with HSE/Quality and driving improvements in sustainability-related processes.
Engaging in local tax-related tasks, such as transfer pricing documentation
At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is based at our Søborg office in Copenhagen, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 5 - 10 days per year.
What You Know
You bring a solid financial background combined with a structured and analytical mindset. With hands-on experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance, you understand how to navigate complex business environments and contribute to continuous improvement through systems and processes.
To succeed in this role, you are likely to bring:
A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar.
Solid knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and internal control frameworks.
Understanding of business processes in a global company and know how to structure local compliance based on global standards (e.g. segregation of duties, internal controls, risk assessments).
Strong IT mindset and are confident working with digital financial tools and systems.
Fluency in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
