Job Summary:
Stable and mature Supply Chain unit manager opportunity to lead the future business capabilities while developing a great team in the functions of order handling, material planning, and inventory management to deliver separation technology from a global leader to the Food, Water, Energy, and Marine industries.
You are the single point contact with the BU & Sales company with knowledge and competence to ensure demand plans/forecasts are aligned with material and capacity needs involving high variation of products and purchased materials are on-time. Continually improving the processes, and people for the good of the planet.
The Supply Chain Unit Manager is a key function in the management team, and visible leadership role in the factory operation. This position requires strong inventory management knowledge and continuous improvement behavior along with excellent customer service and staff development commitment.

Key Tasks:
- Responsible for the performance the unit, including financial KPIs, ex. IDS, Obsolescence, DOT and order fulfillment lead-time.
- Standardize, optimize, and monitor the supply chain processes within the unit following approved SOP's.
- Set and follow up targets for the unit connected to factory priority.
- Participate in making the factory Operational plan.
- Support and initiate supplier development activities together with support functions.
- Participate in NEP and give input to EPD.
- Make costing update for the unit.
- Drive and lead Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement activities, and secure the result.
- Lead and develop the people in unit according to YOU program.
- Work together with management team to achieve factory’s KPI target.
- Proactive communication with customers, suppliers, internal & external Operation.
Order Handling
- Deliver a cross functional service to the customer in order to meet the customer demands and secure a timely and accurate communication to the customer as well as within own organization
- Registrate orders and monitor order settlement process (delay, move forward, orders on hold, TBA)
- Ensure that orders are maintained and updated. Handle returns, commission, credit/debit. Coordinate and follow up on claims from customers.
Planning
- Must have good analytical and planning skills to establish supply requirements
- Review forecasts with suppliers and material schedules with the production management team
- Establish inventory classifications (ABC) and cooresponding standardized supply schedules
Material Purchasing
- Monitor supply chain performance and establish metrics to assess factors such as quality, cost and delivery performance
- Collaborate with members of the supply chain to find ways of improving efficiency or reducing cost
- ERP system utilization for all activites to provide visibility to all users of the supply chain
Communication
- Build relationships within the factory, global business unit, and product group
- Collaborate with other departments in order to identify problems and find solutions
- Maintain and develop positive business relationships with sales company and customers
General
- Assist the development of new products (NPD) regarding supply chain setup and coordinate routine design notifications (DN) for existing product (EPD) changes across the supply chain
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations for management
- Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports
- Direct the hiring, training, supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations of supply chain staff
- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws (sustainability)
About You:
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of accounting and finance, related to purchasing materials from supplier and inventory control
- Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements
- Diagram supply chain process to help facilitate improvements and develop standard operating procedures
- Working knowledge of ERP system
- Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to perform accurate arithmetic computations using applications such as spreadsheet, word processing, email and database software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3-5 year experience management responsibility
- Work in multinational manufacturing companies will be a plus
- Solid english ability and comfortable working globally in written and oral english
