About the job
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of our accounting department. You will lead a team of accounting professionals and ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, compliance with regulatory requirements, and preparation of financial statements.
Job Description
Manage the day-to-day operations of the team (accounts receivable/ payable, and/or one or several specialist areas e.g. Cashier/Finance).
Closing of local books, reconcile accounts, book-keeping and maintaining an accurate general ledger and to be in line with accounting principles and reporting schedules, so that the organization's statements are complete and correct.
Prepare monthly closing or oversee the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of all financial reports.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities.
Responsible for developing and evaluating financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and investment activities, and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, and other financial control functions.
Supervise, train, and support the accounting team to increase efficiency.
Provide the finance and accounting support and advise to internal concerned operations.
Oversee and ensure that accounting operations, taxation and financial performance are accurate and meet accounting standards, tax regulations and any related laws.
Liaise with external and internal auditors, other departments, bank, and authorities on accounting and tax matters.
What you know
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software systems.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and Positive Thinking.
Good communications skill with an excellent spoken and written English.
