About the job
We are seeking a skilled Automation Hardware Developer to join our Automation Development team within the Research & Development department at Alfa Laval Aalborg. This role focuses on our Heat and Gas products for marine vessels. Some of your main tasks include:
Develop and maintain electrical panel standards for various products / systems utilizing EPLAN P8 software.
Design of control panels and choosing the right components.
Deliver solutions in line with business strategy.
Technical assistance for our Project Engineering and Service organization.
Handle engineering changes in accordance with the process.
Control panel supplier alignment.
Participate in development projects.

You are meticulous and detail-oriented, capable of working effectively on electrical solution development while ensuring steady progress. Your structured and practical approach allows you to make informed decisions quickly. You are a team player who values inclusivity and enjoys engaging socially with colleagues. Required Qualifications:
Relevant educational background i.e. as Marine Engineer with electrical experience, electrical engineer, electrician combined with bachelor education, automation technician or similar.
Experience with panel design and choosing electrical components.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with EPLAN P8 or similar tool
Experience with EPLAN ProPanel (or similar) and Harness.
Experience in the marine industry.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
