About the job
As our new Automation Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting, and creating software for our marine products. Your key duties will be:
Establishing automation standards for Alfa Laval.
Developing specifications for automation systems.
Designing hardware for automation systems.
Investigating next-generation core automation platforms.
Reviewing and testing code blocks created by team members.
Providing support for our automation solutions across the organization.
About you
You thrive in dynamic environments with shifting priorities, where your meticulous attention to detail is paired with a strong sense of urgency. You are systematic, customer-focused, and process-driven. You excel in tasks that require innovative solutions and adaptability to change. You collaborate effectively within teams while independently managing your responsibilities, leveraging your ability to grasp complex systems and workflows quickly.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or Automation Technology.
PLC and HMI programming knowledge.
High-Level programming knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in automation software design.
Experience in creating automation system specifications.
Experience in creating test specifications.
Experience with sensor and actuator regulation.
Genuine interest and abilities in industrial and marine processes.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
