VACANCY FOR BACKEND DEVELOPER

We are looking for an additional member of our developing team, which develops IoT solutions for all Alfa Laval products for our customers. We do this to enable remote support, data visualization, and performance analytics, to improve efficiency, compliance, and sustainability for our customers. Since we have an agile setup, we do all planning and estimation as a team creating the right workload for the team, including product owner, 7 developers, a designer, and a tester. The team collaborates with two others agile IoT teams, so you will become part of a department, with many skilled developers.

The position / About the Job:

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the team to develop the software used on our gateways to ensure performance, user friendliness, stability, and cybersecurity. 

Knowledge:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Skills:

You should have 2 to 6 years’ experience in the following:

• Development using C#, .NET framework
• Development using Azure Services including (but not restricted to) Service Bus, Event Hub, Containers, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, SignalR
• Strong knowledge of OOPS concepts
• Writing unit tests
• Writing database queries using SQL
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, InfluxDB
• Knowledge of serverless apps and functions
• Good to have experience of working with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps
• Python knowledge is a plus
