We exist to accelerate success for our customers, people and planet. In the Business Unit GPHE, we do this by setting accelerating energy efficiency in a wide range of applications (HVAC, Data Centers, and Process Industries) and enable the development of clean power, fuel and chemicals (H2, CCUS and renewable chemicals).  Our responsibility covers both capital sales and service activities for our product. With a turnover of 600 M€ in sales, 7 factories, 1,700 employees and strong profitability, the Business Unit is getting prepared for its next stage of development and is reinforcing its management team with a BU Financial controller. 

Main purpose of the job / Mission:

The main purpose of the Business Controller is to oversee the financial performance and operations of the Business Unit with full accountability for the P&L and Balance Sheet. Your main mission will be to support business decisions to drive a profitable growth strategy and secure its proper execution. The BU controller is a key business partner to the BU President and the management team of the BU.  

Key responsibilities:

• Perform regular performance monitoring and forecasting of the P&L and balance sheet.

• Develop financial planning processes.

• Support the implementation of overall business plans.

• Secure proper implementation of the strategy and address performance gaps when needed.

• Participate and drive change projects.

• Lead the financial community within the Business Unit.

Who you are:

We are looking for an experienced Business Controller with strong business and financial acumen. You have the ability to understand the business and its environment in a broad sense, and you use this insight to support business decisions. Ideally you have a background from an international environment and a master’s degree in business administration or similar educational background.

You can model the financial impact of strategic options, and a good understanding of fiscal and legal aspects of international business.

As a person you are unafraid, self-driven, imaginative, inquisitive, and embracing change with an ability to achieve results in a matrix. You also have the ability to engage the organization by making your area understandable and clear for driving the right causes.
 

Experience from pricing, product costing and project sales is a plus.
