About the job

As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting channel partners within process industries. You will drive day-to-day sales activities,

serving as the first line of technical support, and ensure seamless coordination between internal teams, customers, and channel partners. Currently, this is a Hybrid opportunity with Richmond, VA as the preferred location. We will consider individuals working from home offices.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Collaborate with channel development manager to develop and drive partner action plans to increase sales to assigned customers and take market share.

  • Provide technical and commercial support for channels.

  • Collaborate with the P&A team to ensure quotes are competitive and aligned with customer expectations.

  • Conduct educational seminars for channels and customers.

  • Understand competitive landscape, adjusting plans as appropriate.

  • Communicate Alfa Laval updates (corporate, pricing, product) as needed.

  • Collaborate with Channel Development to ensure alignment with channel strategy.

What you know:

You have bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience, and:

  • 3-5 years professional experience related to channel sales management

  • Experience with technical sales and process industries

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The base salary for this role is typically $90,000 - $125,000.
