About the job
Commercial Excellence supports the sales & service organizations at Alfa Laval by promoting data quality and data completeness, improving lead-to-order processes, developing and promoting best practices in the use of Alfa Laval’s sales technologies, and providing actionable insights that help the business make informed decisions. Further, Commercial Excellence supports the overall marketing agenda at Alfa Laval by providing data & operational support to colleagues in the marketing organization.
The Commercial Excellence Intern will be exposed to sales and marketing technologies, such as constituent management relationship (CRM) systems and data administration best practices. Further, the intern will gain exposure to marketing and sales concepts such as lead management, opportunity management, account management, and contact management.
This is a role is open to candidates in Houston, TX; Greenwood, IN; Kenosha, WI; or Warrington, PA.
As a part of the team, you will:
Participate in data enhancement/data maintenance in Alfa Laval’s constituent relationship management (CRM) system, OneCRM
Assist with process improvement and process documentation
Contribute to efforts to strengthen Alfa Laval’s equipment traceability post sales
Engage in data querying & analysis
What you know:
You are a rising college junior or senior, open to all majors, with preference for those pursuing coursework in business administration, marketing, data analytics, or engineering and you have:
An analytical mind with the ability to translate data into insights
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and skills
Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
An interest in sales operations, data analysis, and process improvement

What’s in it for you?
At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your compensation. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The hourly rate for this role is $20 to $25 USD per hour.
