About the role
The Compliance and Laboratory Lead is a key role within the Innovation Centre, combining responsibility for regulatory compliance with the management of laboratory operations. The Compliance Lead ensures that the Food Application & Innovation Centre follows all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards by developing, implementing, and monitoring appropriate policies and procedures. The role also involves advising management, managing risks, and promoting a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization. As Laboratory Lead, the position is responsible for the overall operation, safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the laboratory. In addition, the role supports the Fermentation Area by contributing to trials, research and development, and innovation activities.

Who you are
You are an analytical and solution-oriented professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You communicate confidently with both internal and external stakeholders and have a strong customer-focused mindset. You enjoy working collaboratively in dynamic, multidisciplinary and multicultural environments, and you are comfortable managing changing priorities. You are also confident presenting information and contributing to R&D projects.
What you know
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Food Science or a related field, combined with at least two years of laboratory experience. You have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards. In addition, you are experienced in analyzing information, solving problems, preparing technical reports and delivering presentations. Experience working with R&D projects is considered an advantage.
