Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the Role

Join us as a Data Migration Factory Lead and play a pivotal role in our D365 F&O rollouts. You’ll lead, operate, and continuously improve our Data Migration Factory, working with modern tools like Microsoft Fabric, Alteryx, and the Power Platform.

You will work closely with rollout teams, migration specialists and platform developers and will have a chance to combine technical leadership, hands-on involvement, and operational ownership – driving both successful migrations and the evolution of the factory platform.

If you are comfortable discussing architecture and troubleshooting technical issues, but equally comfortable coordinating stakeholders, managing priorities and ensuring teams have what they need to succeed – we want to hear from you!

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage Data Migration Factory Application processes and capabilities

  • Contribute to governance along with the platform team

  • Develop, build and optimize ETL workflows using Alteryx for data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration

  • Design, build, and maintain Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines and data ingestion solutions

  • Execute D365 F&O data migration activities, including master and transactional data migration

  • Develop data transformation logic using SQL, PySpark, Fabric Notebooks, and Dataflows Gen2

  • Build and support Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) implementations

  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, standardization, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks

  • Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, and performance optimization for data pipelines

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams on data mapping, business rules, and migration requirements

  • Support migration testing, cutover activities, post-load validation, and production deployment

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment runbooks

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading or coordinating ERP data migration projects.

  • Strong understanding of data migration processes (scoping, mapping, transformation, validation, cutover).

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Alteryx, and Power Platform applications.

  • Ability to troubleshoot migration issues and contribute directly to technical solutions.

  • Experience working with both business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

  • Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Practical experience with several of the following:

    • Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines & Lakehouse concepts

    • Alteryx workflow development

    • Power Platform applications

    • Reporting/dashboard design

    • Azure DevOps

    • Data validation & reconciliation

    • D365 F&O data migration

Nice to Have

  • Experience with D365 F&O Data Management Framework (DMF)

  • Power BI, semantic models, or dashboard data preparation

  • Git, Azure DevOps, or version control tools

  • ERP data migration or legacy system modernization projects

  • API-based data integration and REST API patterns

  • Performance tuning for SQL, PySpark, and data pipelines

  • Data governance, security, privacy, and access control concepts

  • Direct Impact: Work on business-critical systems shaping global operations.
