About the Job
We’re seeking a Development Engineer to join our Product Development team within the Business Unit Welded and Circular Technologies (BU WCT). In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of scouting and developing breakthrough technologies. You’ll drive innovative concepts that push the boundaries of what’s possible, addressing new and existing challenges with fresh technical solutions.
Key responsibilities for this role entail:
Develop new concepts for heat exchangers
Drive the process from concept to product based on input from customers and market requirements
Align designs vs simulation outcomes (computational fluid dynamics or mechanical simulations) and pressure vessel sizing
Be involved with prototype unit build and testing, and implement improvements in designs
You will be an integral part of a team of other design engineers, thermal and material specialists, FEA and CFD simulation engineers and industrialization experts
This position is based in Lund, with travel up to 30 days per year.

What you know
A degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
Experience in innovation and technology development.
Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo and/or Solid Works).
Knowledge of mechanical calculations and/or FE-analysis tools is a strong plus.
Experience with industrial heat exchangers is a strong plus
