About the job
The digital sales tools team works across the BFB product life cycle and is responsible for:

  • Digital enablement of products and assortment,
  • Management of product data and content,
  • Development of Configurators and Product master (BME),
  • Support the development of centrally managed tools such as Anytime, PIM and BI.

As the Manager of the team, you will develop the Sales Tools area by coordinating activities of the team for a superior customer experience through accurate and intuitive Sales tools. You´ll do this by ensuring sales tools fit for market and in the alignment with Company overall system/IT direction.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and drive the Digital Sales Tools strategy and roadmap
  • Identify gaps & needs for development as well as improvement opportunities and drive prioritization with IT organization.
  • Coordinate team activities, manage resources and support the team.
  • Represent the Business Unit and Energy Division in various Value Streams forums, meetings & workshops.
  • Develop & coach team members individually as well as building and maintaining a strong  team spirit.
  • Perform general line management activities.

This position is based in Lund, together with the direct reports, a team of 7 people. You´ll report to the Head of Channel Sales for the Business unit. You will work cross-functionally, and the main stakeholders are Sales, R&D, Product Management and Marketing Communication within the Business Unit, and the value streams within Alfa Laval.

What you know

  • Experience of being part of digital transformation journey, setting visions and roadmaps.
  • Work experience in e-business and/or digital sales tools development using agile methodology.
  • User centric mindset, to ensure we develop tools that are useful and appreciated by the different customer target groups.
  • Highly structured, can apply different approaches and frameworks to drive improvement work.
  • Good level of spoken and written English is required.

Who you are
You have a higher education in business administration or engineering and some experience as a people leader (formal or informal). We believe you have project management experience and possess a good understanding in terms of product information related systems and how they interact. You are an energetic and dynamic person who thrives in fast-paced environments. We trust you are a true networker and enjoy working in cross functional teams. In addition, you are well known for your proactive approach, as well as in being service-minded.
