About the job

As an Electronic Development Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our next-generation products. You’ll join the Sensing & Control team within R&D, where we develop advanced mechatronic and IoT solutions to drive the digital transformation of our robust portfolio - including pumps, valves, cleaning, and mixing systems for the food and pharmaceutical industries.

In this position, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of electronic development, ensuring high performance and reliability throughout the process. You’ll be responsible for defining hardware architecture solutions and ensuring platform alignment across all products to maintain coherence in technical decisions. You will own the full hardware lifecycle - from architecture and PCB design to bring‑up, validation, certification, and documentation. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues and partners both locally and globally, turning innovative concepts into reality through teamwork and technical expertise.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Manage hardware component vendors

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and drive cost-optimized, value-engineered hardware design
  • Create and maintain design documentation for hardware systems
  • Lead technical decision-making and provide guidance to hardware design teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware-related issues
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies to support continuous innovation

Key tasks:

  • Drive product development from initial idea to product launch
  • Maintain and continuously improve our existing solutions
  • Understand costumer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them
  • Collaborate and interact with stakeholders across the entire value chain, both internally and externally.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting and validation of electronic components
  • Understanding customer needs and find innovative solutions.
  • Interaction with stakeholders across the full value chain, both internally and externally.
  • Design and develop electronic circuits and systems.

The position is based in Kolding, Denmark. Up to 10 international travel days a year must be expected.

What you know

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Strong technical background within the field of PCB design, embedded software, FW, IoT, sensors and mechatronics
  • Proven experience in electronic hardware development
  • Experience with PCB layout and design from prototype to mass production
  • Experienced user of CAD tools like Cadence OrCAD / Allegro, Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics PADS etc.
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded systems
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and data handling 
  • Knowledge of certification regarding EMC and other regulations.
  • Knowledge of compliance (CE/UL, Safety/SIL)
  • Familiar with using basic simulation tools like LTSpice or Cadense PSpice
  • Experience with IO-Link, ASi, Bluetooth, BLDC motor driver, STM32, Power bank / SuperCap's (charge controller, cell monitor) will be an advantage
  • Fluent in Danish and English (both written and spoken).
