Therefore, we are seeking a dedicated Global Sales Mining Manager. This role reports to the Head of Process Sales and will be located in Copenhagen, Denmark or Lund, Sweden. There are approximately 60-70 travel days per year.
About the Job
We are looking for a Mining Sales Manager to drive global sales growth for Alfa Laval’s mining decanter solutions. You will be responsible for leading sales efforts, engaging with customers, and working closely with our global sales force to ensure strong market penetration and revenue generation, working with a team of 5 in different locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a diverse, high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and customer expectations.
Develop and manage customer relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing high-value sales opportunities.
Expand the sales pipeline and oversee structured follow-ups to maximize conversion rates.
Collaborate with Alfa Laval’s global sales companies, ensuring alignment on key sales initiatives.
Work closely with Service and Execution teams to enhance the customer experience and after-sales support.
Increase Alfa Laval’s market presence by engaging with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders.
Utilize digital sales tools and strategies to enhance lead generation and customer engagement.
Manage sales forecasting and budgeting to ensure predictable and profitable growth.
Who You Are/What you know
You are a highly motivated sales professional with a strong customer focus and a results-driven mindset. Proven experience 5+ years in sales leadership, managing diverse teams to exceed targets and customer expectations. You have strong knowledge of mining operations and sustainability challenges, allowing you to position our solutions effectively. You possess excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including executive decision-makers.
You bring experience working in a matrix organization, managing indirect sales, and driving collaboration across teams. Additionally, you have the passion for sustainability and innovative technology as a driver of business growth. You are a strong communicator fluent in English. You also possess a related University Degree.
