Job Description

As our new Global Technical Expert your main responsibility will be repairing solutions, inspections, and customer support. These tasks involve: 

• Perform technical coordination of inspections and emergency repairs on boilers, inert gas generators, and exhaust gas scrubbers.

• Create tool lists and assess manpower skill sets to meet the requirements of specific jobs.

• Develop instruction material on inspections for easy reporting by onsite inspector/supervisor.

• Support sales and order management in solutions on technical matters.

• Select and develop our tools and ways of working for on-site use.

• Together with our manpower planners, coordinate inspections and emergency repairs for our customers.

• Responsible for the shipment of tools, materials, and consumables for inspections and emergency repairs.

What You Know

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.

• We expect you to come from a technical engineering background and have experience within the shipping industry along with extensive experience or knowledge in the construction or repair of boilers.

• Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written are a prerequisite for this position.

• Proficiency in computer applications and project management software (Microsoft 365 environment).
