Who you are:

  • Lead and manage the sourcing activities for GPHE factory in Jiangyin
  • Responsible to implement policies, compliance and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance to Sourcing Process and sourcing objectives.
  • Accountable for Compliance, Quality, Delivery and Cost development related to factory supplier base.
  • Accountable for sourcing related performance, scorecard result, within site/factory.
  • Be the sourcing representative in the factory management team.
  • Give input to global sourcing on demands and needs for the sites/factories.
  • Implement and input to handshake process/project site/factory and follow up implementation to secure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.
  • Lead and develop purchasing team. Develop, communicate and follow up operational plan, based on sourcing strategies.
  • Lead the Costing Update related sourcing activities.
  • Manage Alfa Laval fixed assets in supplier site, for example tools, fixtures.

Specific Accountable Essential to Acceptable Job Performance

General

  • Lead and manage the sourcing related activities and safeguard that overall supplier performance followed the defined targets
  • Implement and input to handshake process/project in factory and follow up implementation to secure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.
  • Lead and develop the purchasing team.
  • Responsible for follow up of supplier performance and for initiate actions when compliance, Quality, Delivery or cost development don´t fulfill the defined KPI’s.
  • Support NCR and PIM process
  • Give input to global sourcing team on demands and needs for the factory or a certain project.

MRP/Jakamo system maintenance

  • Lead the Costing Update process and safeguard that right component prices are updated with the right escalation factors. Work close with controller to verify if something looks wrong.
  • Safeguard that supplier, purchasing price, Lead time, MOQ always are right on component level.
  • For delegated suppliers maintain Jakamo with right GSM numbers, agreements, valid price lists and all compliance documents
  • Other tasks from direct manager

Sourcing strategy

  • Responsible for implementing sub-commodity strategies in coordination with Global Sourcing
  • Safeguard usage of preferred suppliers for new items.
  • Safeguard right that right suppliers are chosen for NPD projects and to keep related cost targets
  • Drive lead time reduction and cost reduction initiatives which are aligned with factory.
  • Responsible for the sourcing part risk assessment related to BCP

Project management

  • Responsible for successfully planning, scheduling, controlling and managing project deliverables when appointed
  • Working with various EPD and NPD sourcing projects, also in cooperation with Sourcing office, SQA team and Global sourcing
  • Supporting optimize operating working capital.

Supplier Development

  • Initiate local PIM´s (purchasing improvements) when needed and to escalate when support is needed
  • Lead the team when they are appointed as resolution leaders for PIM cases

 

What you know:

  • 5 - 10 years’ experience from production/manufacturing company in global environment
  • Proofed Leadership and management skills
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft office package.
  • Highest business integrity
  • Preferred experience from PPAP and Lean 6 Sigma
