We’re looking for
Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.
As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.
Who you are
You are a recent graduate or have limited work experience, with a bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree in accounting, auditing, economic analysis, or a related field. You have a genuine interest in accounting and are eager to grow within the field. You are also interested in working with financial systems and digital tools, and you enjoy finding smarter ways to work.
You are a team player who can also work independently. You are numbers-oriented, detail-focused, analytical, and energetic. Since you will interact with colleagues from various backgrounds, you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy engaging with people.
About the job
As a Junior Financial Controller, you will play an important role in our financial reporting process and systems. Your main responsibilities include compiling, monitoring, and analyzing financial reports from Alfa Laval’s entities worldwide, as well as managing and developing our financial reporting system. You will actively participate in quarterly and annual reporting, contributing to the preparation of financial statements. Accounting for smaller entities will also be part of your role.
You will communicate with controllers and finance staff across the globe, joining a young and dynamic team where collaboration and support are essential. What you know
You are proficient in Excel and comfortable working with digital systems. Relevant work experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Fluency in both Swedish and English (spoken and written) is required, as all our reporting is conducted in both languages.
What’s in it for you?
We offer a challenging position in an open and innovative environment where we support each other’s growth and create value together. You will work with cross-functional teams, continuously learning from experts in various fields. At Alfa Laval, you will have excellent opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career.
