The Role
Alfa Laval is currently on an HR journey where we see great potential with established in May 2023 a local HR Service Center (HR SSC) in Krakow delivery support to Employees in Poland, North and Central Eastern Europe Countries. The HR SSC mission is streamlining HR & Payroll processes, ensuring an efficient and effective HR operation with best-in-class Employee support, fully focused on self-service enablement and automation.
In the position of HR Partner, you will be responsible for a variety of HR related activities delivered to Employees in Netherlands and Belgium. You will be part of the local HR SSC Team located in Netherlands, and report to the Local HR Shared Service Center Manager in Krakow, Poland. You will be working closely with other local HR Partners, Payroll Partners, our Vendors and HR Business Partners.
Your Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely execution of activities related to the whole employment life cycle: Hiring & Onboarding administration, Time & Absence, Benefits, Pension and Separation process
Accountable for full management of Employees’ documents preparation, processing (i.e. employment contracts, contract annexes, certificates) and Personal Files management
Execute transactional Employee Lifecycle activities in Workday and Vendor’s Payroll System
Resolve Employees HR queries, by providing direct support via HR case (ServiceNow ticketing system)
Appropriately collect and register monthly mutations to assure data readiness for the payroll process executed by Payroll Partner
Prepare various organizational/HR reports and process analysis
Maintain local HR website, related knowledge materials and prepare/deliver regular communication to Employees
Carry out audit and checks on data changes to ensure compliance between the HR systems
Actively participate or manage the local and global HR initiatives/projects to continuously improve delivered HR processes, HR system and overall service provided to Employees.
Our Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience required
Minimum of 3 years of HR administration experience
Familiarity with HR operational process knowledge and experience
Very good spoken and written Dutch & English
HR system knowledge i.e. Workday is a plus
HR case management system knowledge i.e. ServiceNow is a plus
Knowledge of employment/labor law in Netherlands is a plus
Open and communicative team player, laser-focused on Employee experience and HR processes improvement.
