About the job
The Internal Sales Service- Sanitary Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger (GPHE) will be responsible to support the service sales business for sanitary heat exchanger. They will be responsible for the day-to-day sales with Sanitary Distributors and key account customers.
Promote and sell Alfa Laval Sanitary Heat Exchanges parts and services to distributors and key customers.
Support the customer in identifying the parts required for their equipment maintenance.
Prepare and deliver timely and accurate quotes that reflect the customer needs and value proposition.
Follow up with customers on quotes sent to ensure their understanding and satisfaction.
Build strong and lasting business relationships with distributors and accounts.
Provide business feedback to contribute to the business plan development.
Execute special quotes as defined by the Business Development Manager in alignment with the growth plan.
Send proactive quotes to target customers to generate new opportunities.
Use the CRM tool and other tools effectively and consistently to support the sales process and decision making.
Nurture qualified leads and convert them to orders.
Coordinate with other groups such as Advanced Technical Services, Operations, Sanitary Food Heat Transfer Application group, and Sanitary Food Heat Transfer Capital Sales to provide comprehensive solutions to customers.

What you know:
AS or BS Degree – preferred. Minimum of High School education with related customer service/ sales experience.
Customer service background
Experience with quoting.
Communication and negotiation experience.

At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The overall salary range for this role is typically $65,000 - $75,000 base + bonus.
