Within Alfa Laval Business Unit Heat & Gas Systems we develop sustainable equipment and installations for the maritime industry. Our customers are ship owners and yards worldwide.

About the job

As a Master Data Process Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing master data processes to ensure full, high-quality, and updated databases across all applications.

Reporting directly to the Manager Product Configuration & Systems Management, your responsibilities include:

• Implementing and optimizing processes and procedures to guarantee data completeness in our PLM, ERP, Engineering tools and other data systems).
• Ensuring timely and consistent reporting through KPIs maintenance and analysis.
• Driving continuous improvement in master data processes across the value chain (R&D, Engineering, Sales, Procurement, Production and Service).
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to support the introduction and/or modification of (new) products and applications.
• Supporting data managers in the troubleshooting of data errors (root cause analysis & problem solving).
• Providing training and support to users on master data dependencies.

Who you are

We are looking for a creative thinker and a structured, well organized problem solver with a keen eye for detail. Ideal candidates will have:

• A University or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Economics.
• Experience about business processes in an Engineering & Procurement environment.
• Expertise in data governance, business processes, and relevant computer systems (ERP, PLM, Excel).
• Leadership skills in managing transitions through the organization (change management).
• Pro-active, ability to take initiative (self-starter).
• Proficiency in improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
