About The Job
As Pharma Program Manager, you will step into a newly created high-impact role to further shape and scale Hygienic Fluid Handling (HFH) within the pharmaceutical industry. Building on an established foundation, you will refine structures, ways of working, and strategic priorities while leading complex, cross-functional programs from concept through execution to drive continued growth in Pharma.
Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will translate market and customer insights into aligned, compliant programs, working closely with senior leadership, experts, and external stakeholders to drive planning, risk management, and performance across initiatives and strengthen HFH’s long-term position in this strategic segment.
Your tasks:
Lead end-to-end program execution across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Translate market and customers’ demands into our product portfolio. Ensure all program activities comply with relevant regulatory standards, AL internal quality systems, and End users’ compliance requirements
Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support HFH’s successful development and strengthening of a strong position within the pharmaceutical industry.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure HFH success.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including Divisional and BU Presidents, the engaged HFH product commercial, and manufacturing teams, and key end users.
Report progress to the Steering Committee. Collaborate with SMEs across the division, support the development of new competencies in BU related to traceability and compliance to become a Pharma First culture
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare status reports, and present updates to senior leadership and the Steering Committee
At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position can be based at our Copenhagen, Kolding, or Flemingsberg office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 15 – 20 days per year.
What You Know
A degree within Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus
7+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the pharma or biotech industry.
Strong understanding of the pharma industry and knowledge of drug development, lifecycle, regulatory pathways, and commercialization strategies.
Ability to manage, on time and on budget, multiple complex projects in a matrixed environment, without direct authority
PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
