Framo is looking for a Project Engineer Piping, who is responsible for organizing and coordinating all activities within the piping department.
We are looking for a proactive Project Engineer Piping with a strong technical background and excellent coordination skills. Someone who thrives in a dynamic, international environment, enjoys working closely with customers, and takes ownership of planning, organizing, and delivering high-quality piping projects on time.
Your role
You will oversee piping inspections, prepare offers and quotations, and manage the production of prefabricated piping systems. You ensure that all piping activities in the workshop are planned, executed, and delivered on time and according to the required quality standards.
You act as the link between customers, internal departments, and the workshop, ensuring smooth communication and high customer satisfaction. In this role, you report to the Customer Support Manager / Team Leader Workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and coordinate piping projects within the workshop
Ensure proper administrative handling of piping inspections, quotations, and production processes
Combine and streamline individual tasks into an efficient and well-documented workflow
Plan and supervise piping activities in the workshop
Ensure timely delivery with the required quality standards
Inform and advise customers on the condition of piping systems and potential replacements
Maintain effective communication with customers, Customer Support, Spare Parts, and workshop teams
Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals
Schedule inspections, measurements, and workshop activities
Act as a backup for workshop-related tasks and responsibilities
Coordinate and manage third-party services when required
Ensure all work is executed in accordance with FRAMO standards
Propose improvements to processes, procedures, and products
Health & Safety
Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with FRAMO standards and safety regulations
Actively contribute to improvements in work processes, procedures, and safety practices
About you
You are a hands-on and customer-focused professional with a strong technical background in piping or mechanical engineering. You communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, workshop, and internal departments. You take ownership of your work, manage multiple priorities with ease, and are driven to deliver high-quality results on time. With a proactive mindset, you identify improvements in processes and contribute to a safe, efficient, and collaborative working environment.
What you bring
MBO/HBO degree in a technical and/or administrative field
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
Positive, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented attitude
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Ability to work in an international and dynamic environment
Passion for delivering excellent customer service
Team player who contributes to a positive working environment and high team performance
