About the job
We are seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our Service Projects team to work on projects across the Power, Offshore & Cruise industries. In this multifaceted role, you will collaborate with Project Managers and other Service team members to successfully execute multiple concurrent small-medium scale projects. As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of boiler and combustion system projects across the globe.
Job Description
Participate Project Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers to oversee project execution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Process System Design: Contribute to process system design, optimisation, and efficiency enhancements.
Project Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical project documents to ensure project compliance.
Project Planning and Scheduling: Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling.
Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal project teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
Travel: The role will involve occasional domestic and international travel.
What You Know
You will be experienced working in a technical environment and possess a related tertiary qualification or have at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
You have experience within the offshore, shipbuilding, power plant, process, or manufacturing industries.
You have an electrical and/or automation background. Mechanical equipment knowledge is also highly desirable.
You have good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs and proficient in the use of MS Project and AutoCAD or similar (preferred).
You are a resilient problem solver who thrives on challenges and excels under pressure.
You collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and are fluent in English.
You thrive in a systematic work environment and have a keen eye for process improvement.
You prioritise customer satisfaction and ensure a positive experience.
You have a proven track record managing Health, Safety & Environment practices across all organisational levels.
