About the job
As a Project Engineer Student Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Project Management team as we execute several exciting projects in the pipeline. Your main focus will be assisting in project execution and documentation, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, including system, mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines, to provide technical assistance and support. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation of approval documents and detailed working documents for design purposes.
Supporting Project Management and Order Engineering by responding to customer technical comments, approval comments, and class technical comments.
Analyzing proposed changes and deviations from customers and assisting in implementing technical changes in orders.
Coordinating and following up on engineering deliverables throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Preparing built documents to hand over to customers.
Collaborating with mechanical engineers and assisting in project execution tasks.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in project management and engineering while working on cutting-edge solutions in Fresh Water Generation.
Who are you
You are an organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You have strong coordination skills and enjoy managing multiple tasks effectively. Your ability to communicate fluently in English allows you to work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams and customers.
You are passionate about engineering and have a genuine interest in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical field. You are proactive, curious, and eager to learn, always looking for ways to expand your knowledge and gain hands-on experience in project management and technical execution.
What you know
To be successful in this role, you:
Are currently pursuing a degree in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering, preferably at the Master’s level.
Have 1 year left in your studies.
Have a strong interest in marine engineering and technical project management.
Are motivated to assist in project execution and documentation, contributing to impactful projects alongside experienced professionals.
