About the job
We seek a dynamic and organized Project Manager to execute mid-size to large projects within our new build projects (Capital Sales). You will be responsible for managing approximately 15 – 30 projects concurrently, each at different stages, while also taking an active role in the Project Management maturity journey in E&S Project Management globally, where we are continually building in the core competencies of our project managers. Some of your main tasks include:
Drive strong and collaborative relationships with internal (capital sales) and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, manpower partners).
Ensuring projects are delivered according to planning, delivery time, budget, and timely invoicing.
Following up and problem-solving on project changes, such as coordinating deliveries of materials and tools to vessels and liaising with onboard manpower, to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensuring project flows are compliant with processes, procedures and financial requirements.
Driving strong risk management across projects.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring continuous customer satisfaction.
About you
As a person, you quickly adapt to new and changing circumstances and aptly assess the potential consequences of different actions related to any situation or task. The ideal candidate maintains a positive attitude in the face of setbacks and obstacles, demonstrates strong organizational skills and agility, and fosters a positive and open mindset. Being open to changes, having good communication skills, maintaining structure in your daily work, and being solutions-oriented are essential qualities for this role.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in engineering (marine, electrical, mechanical or a related field).
At least 3 years of experience within project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
Project Management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2).
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English are a prerequisite.
