About the role
Facility Management in Lund is responsible for the maintenance of properties and the surrounding environment, as well as IT on-site support. We are now looking for a Property Technician to work with both preventive and corrective maintenance of our facilities.
As part of this department, you will provide technical support for facilities and work independently within Real Estate.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Resolving fault reports on our facilities
Performing assembly, carpentry, and painting work
Collaborating with both internal and external customers and partners
Ordering goods and materials
Distributing tasks and acting as administrator in various case management systems
Leading smaller construction projects/activities
Coordinating joint meetings with Alfa Laval operations, carrying out risk assessments together with contractors/production/safety representatives, etc.
Performing preventive facility maintenance
Planning and carrying out maintenance measures, as well as conducting repairs and urgent troubleshooting
Setting up and monitoring safety barriers
Performing and coordinating cleaning, gardening, snow clearance, and similar tasks
What you are
You have a relevant post-secondary education and several years of experience in facility management, primarily focused on maintenance and repair work. Knowledge and experience in ventilation, control, and regulation technology is considered a merit.
You have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, and hold a category B driver’s license.
As a person, you are curious and creative, contributing ideas and new perspectives. You are used to working closely with your team, take on tasks proactively, and see solutions where others see problems. You are motivated by delivering high service levels and are not afraid to try new approaches to find the right solution for your colleagues in Lund. You are equally engaged in installing equipment, fixing building faults, and working outdoors.
