About the job
As our Purchasing Manager, which is a highly tactical and strategic role, you will be responsible for the overall purchasing activities. You will be working closely with the Global Sourcing Organization within Alfa Laval. You will also be responsible for:
Negotiations and supplier contracts to deliver best quality, delivery and cost solutions
Key Supplier Agreements strategy and secure delivery
Development of Systems and ERP
Implementing KPI systems and reports.
Data cleaning and preparation for Dynamics365
The role is situated at our site and factory in Nakskov reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. Some international travel will be required of approximately 10-20 days per year. Alfa Laval offers a hybrid work model with the possibility to work from home 1-2 days per week when it fits with your tasks.
What you know
We are looking for someone with a proven track record with at least 5-10 years’ experience of procurement and negotiation at an international level, combined with solid management experience. We believe you have a degree in procurement or supply chain management. When it comes to ERP systems, you are an expert and can participate in the development of such. We work in an international environment therefore you need excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Danish
