About the job…

As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that every product and process meets the highest standards of excellence, supporting our mission to make the most of resources and enable sustainable progress across industries.

In this role, you’ll review project specification documents to identify customer quality requirements and ensure they are fully implemented throughout production. You’ll document inspection and testing activities in line with established procedures, assist in developing weld procedures, and collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to secure consistent application of project quality standards.

You’ll coordinate with third-party customer inspectors, oversee document control within the Quality Department, and recommend improvements to strengthen our quality management system. Your work will include evaluating production activities, performing audits across quality, manufacturing, and engineering, and supporting resolution plans for nonconforming conditions.

Beyond daily operations, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives—applying Lean manufacturing principles and root cause analysis to drive efficiency and reliability. You’ll also perform quality control inspections and tests from material receipt through fabrication and final inspection, ensuring compliance and precision at every stage.

This is an onsite position located in Broken Arrow, OK.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review project specifications to define and apply customer quality requirements.
  • Document inspection and testing activities according to established procedures.
  • Support development and qualification of weld procedures.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement project quality standards.
  • Coordinate with third-party inspectors and manage inspection documentation.
  • Lead in inspections and Customer audits.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the quality management system.
  • Oversee document control processes within the Quality Department.
  • Conduct audits and evaluations across production, engineering, and quality functions.
  • Support corrective and preventive actions for nonconforming materials and products.
  • Perform quality control inspections from incoming materials to final product.
  • Contribute to Lean and continuous improvement programs.
  • Follows all company-wide safety policies and requirements; encourages action assuring safe behavior; confronts unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.

What you know:

  • Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, or relevant experience in quality management or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, and/or inspection within a regulated manufacturing industry.
  • Conducted thorough root-cause analysis and ensured 100% completion of non-conformance dispositions in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintained comprehensive documentation of material scrap and rework analysis for all relevant cases.
  • Successfully completed and documented continuous improvement activities and projects, ensuring all records are on file.
  • Working knowledge of the ASME section II, V, VIII and IX and related standards preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO9000:2000 standard, material specifications, and various national/international codes and standards.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of welding inspections. Welding inspections experience at manufacturer shops / facilities.
  • Understanding of jurisdictional pressure vessel laws and Quality Assurance principles and systems.
  • Experience in process analysis and improvement.

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The base salary for this role is typically between $88,000 to $104,000.00
