About the job
As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mechanical equipment through detailed inspection and repair processes. You will have the opportunity to disassemble, inspect, measure, and reassemble mechanical components, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is an on-site opportunity located in Greenwood, IN.
As a part of the team, you will:
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble mechanical equipment and subassemblies
• Use precision tools to evaluate parts against specifications and document inspection results
• Interpret technical documents and digital tools to identify repair needs and create inspection plans
• Perform calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
• Support investigations into equipment failures and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding products and services
• Participate in internal audits and maintain a clean, organized work environment
What you know:
You have a High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience, and:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manual repair, workshop, or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
• Skilled in using micrometers and gauges in both English and Metric measurements
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
• Preferred proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint
