We’re looking for
Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.
As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.
Who you are:
Are you ready to turn ideas into real-world solutions? At Alfa Laval, we’re looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Business Unit Marine Solutions (BU MAS) at the Qingdao Marine site. You’ll be part of our Research & Development (R&D) organization, working within the Product Maintenance & Development (PDM) team—a group dedicated to transforming concepts into reliable, high-performing products.
In this position, you will be responsible for creating and updating the technical documentation and reference materials, in line with our design guidelines, that support the production of our electrical cabinets. Your work ensures that every component meets design requirements and supports the R&D projects you’re involved in—before they move to our Engineering & Supply (E&S) organization for production.
You’ll act as a key link between R&D, E&S, panel builders, classification societies, and the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) team. Collaboration is central to your success, as you’ll work closely with colleagues in China and Europe to implement design changes and continuous improvements
About the job:
We offer you a diverse and challenging job in an international company. Your location will be in Qingdao, China. You are working daily with your colleagues in China and international colleagues worldwide.
