Sonihull, a member of the Alfa Laval group, is a global leader in ultrasonic antifouling systems. Our award-winning Sonihull technology is in use on more than 4,000 vessels worldwide, with a growing footprint in the industrial markets.
To strengthen our growth in Southern Europe, we are looking for an experienced Regional Business Manager. As part of the Sonihull business, you will work in close collaboration with Alfa Laval’s regional sales teams to drive adoption of our technology with customers across the region. Sitting with the regional team, you will act as the commercial and technical lead for Sonihull in SEA, ensuring our solutions are seamlessly embedded into customer operations.
Key Responsibilities
Grow Sonihull’s business in South Europe by working hand-in-hand with Alfa Laval’s regional sales companies.
Develop and execute action plans that generate profitable opportunities and ensure value-based sales.
Support the regional sales teams with technical expertise, quotations, and pricing proposals within approval levels.
Act as Sonihull’s regional application and process expert, representing the customer’s voice within the business.
Manage and develop key accounts, fostering long-term customer relationships.
Provide training and coaching to Alfa Laval sales colleagues, customers, and partners on Sonihull applications.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Represent Sonihull at regional conferences, exhibitions, and industry networks.
Contribute insights on regional market demand to inform product development and innovation.
Ensure all business activities uphold Alfa Laval’s quality and safety standards.
What we are looking for:
University degree, preferably in business management or engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, key account management, or business development within industrial or maritime sectors.
Strong track record of driving growth through collaboration with sales organisations.
Ability to operate effectively in a matrix set-up, balancing regional alignment with global product priorities.
Excellent communication, networking, and influencing skills.
Commercial and technical acumen with a drive for results.
Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential; regional language skills are an advantage.
