About The Job
For our global water & waste business we are looking for a Regional Business Manager to drive sales and business development in close cooperation with our sales companies and service around the world. This exciting role has many interfaces within Alfa Laval with an opportunity to be part of a professional team with high focus and dedication in providing cutting edge solutions to our customers and contribute to sustainability of the global water & waste industry.
Your key tasks will be:
Drive strategic development of Alfa Laval’s water & waste business
Secure growth and profitability of decanter water & waste portfolio sales through the sales companies
Manage and support technical and commercial negotiations together with the sales companies
Motivate and coach global sales forces to enable execution of strategy and delivery of objectives
Enable long term competence development in the sales companies
Develop sales through CRM, E-commerce, and best practices
Launch products and services in cooperation with product management
Support marketing strategies designed to increase brand awareness and sales
At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is based at our Copenhagen office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 40 - 60 days per year.
What you know
You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent, combining technical expertise with strategic insight to drive results. To further excel in this role, you should have a strong foundation in business management, including experience in setting and implementing business plans to achieve growth and performance targets. A basic understanding of wastewater processes and applications is essential, along with at least some experience working with mechanical rotating equipment, ideally in the field of separation equipment. Proficiency in digital sales tools is critical for success, as is the ability to communicate effectively and deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences.
