Regional Compensation & Benefits Manager Americas

  • Houston
  • Richmond
  • Full time

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job…

As a Regional Compensation and Benefits Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Americas region (North and South America) by providing expert knowledge in compensation and benefits. You will ensure that our compensation and benefits programs are aligned with the business strategy, while remaining equitable, attractive, and competitive across the region. In addition to the Americas region, you will also support the Food & Water division globally.

In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for all Compensation & Benefits-related matters in the region and for the division, implementing global tools, providing consultation and training to HR teams and line managers, and analyzing and recommending compensation and incentive programs. You will also have the opportunity to design and create these programs to meet specific business needs.

As part of the Group Compensation & Benefits team, you will contribute to the development of the Group's overall Compensation & Benefits strategy, structures, and tools. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and help shape our global compensation practices.

This is a hybrid position located in Houston, TX or Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits policies, guidelines, processes, and tools, aligning them with the group’s business needs and the overall People (HR) strategy.

  • Support and coordinate the implementation of compensation and benefits programs, policies, and processes in collaboration with the Regional HR Country Managers.

  • Provide expert guidance and support to local HR teams, HR Business Partners (HRBP), Managers, and other key stakeholders on compensation and benefits policies, processes, and tools.

  • Assist the Regional HR Country Managers in monitoring and tracking the execution and management of global compensation and benefits processes, ensuring consistency and alignment across regions.

  • Stay informed on the latest market trends, research, and developments in compensation and benefits to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

  • Ensure the HR team is equipped with up-to-date knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, industry standards, and regulatory changes to enhance decision-making and business outcomes.

"We care about diversity, inclusion and equity in our recruitment processes. We also believe behavioural traits can provide important insights into a candidate's fit to a role. To help us achieve this we apply Pymetrics assessments, and upon application you will be invited to play the assessment games."

What you know:

You have a strategic mindset, with the ability to align compensation and benefits programs with business goals while ensuring competitiveness and equity and:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with a proven track record of implementing compensation tools across diverse cultures in an international organization.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.

  • Experience with Workday is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to consult, collaborate, and train stakeholders across different regions.

  • Bilingual (Spanish- English) is a strong advantage.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
