Job Title: Sales Engineer
Job Description: Analyze and understand market insights and customer buying behavior to make sales plans according to the business unit strategy and targets. Identify the deeper customer needs and understand the business drivers to develop the “right” opportunities. Independently drive lead generation, screen, prioritize and manage leads from the market and customers, and convert them into real business opportunities. Remote work available up to 3 days per week.
Required Travel: Domestic travel up to 50% to visit customer and supplier locations.
Required education, experience, and skills: Position requires either a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field and 5 years of experience OR no degree and 7 years of experience. Position also requires 5 years of experience with each of the following: (a) Chemical process industries such as bioplastics, life science, industrial fermentation, pulp and paper biodiesel/bioethanol; (b) Selling highspeed separators and decanters; and (c) Selling to industrial customers in industries related to the Green and Renewable Chemical industry or Industrial Fermentation industry.
Salary: $147,826 - $150,000
