About the job
Global Service Technology in Business Unit Welded & Circular Technologies has high priority with a clear growth strategy and focus on improving the customer experience. We now need to strengthen our central team with an additional resource, and this is why we are looking for YOU our next Senior Product Engineer. As a Senior Product Engineer, you play a crucial role in advancing our customer experience.
Your key tasks will be:
Support and execute Installation supervision, FAT and commissioning of new installations.
Expert troubleshooting on HSS & Decanters installations.
Training of our field of service engineers and customers.
Technical support (Remote technical support, helpdesk, claim investigations etc.)
Work in close co-operation with the entire Central Business Unit organization.
Frequent contacts with our sales companies and directly with our customers regarding technical support, commissioning, and site audits
The position involves a large amount of travelling (approx. 140 days / year) sometimes on short notice.
Who you are
You are a strong team player who is also capable of working independently. We believe you are service-minded and customer-focused, with the ability to easily form contacts in a global environment.
You have an eye for details and enjoy delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Flexibility and excellent communication skills are essential qualities for this role.
What you know
You have a bachelor/ master’s degree in engineering (process / Mechanical or Electrical). We trust you bring 5-10 years or experience within the Energy Industry as well as experience with commissioning work. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills at a professional level are a must for this role
Automation, Instrumentation or other Alfa Laval Product knowledge is a plus
