SENIOR THERMAL BID ENGINEER

We’re looking for a passionate “Senior Thermal Bid Engineer" for our Air Team, based in our Suisio Italy site.
Who you are
responsible for the thermal design of the Air Cooler heat exchangers, with special focus on API 661 Dry Air Cooler Heat Exchangers (ACHE) and Wet Surface Air Cooler (WSAC) technology, to guarantee the performances indicated in the Customer Process Datasheet.
Tasks:
1) To verify the thermal design of the Air Cooler h.e. in case designed by Customer and to propose optimized alternatives design for Customer evaluation.
2) To develop thermal design(s) of the Air Cooler h.e. as per Customer PDS requirements that in collaboration with Bid Engineering and Operation team results mechanically optimized from cost and dimension&weight perspective.
3) To cooperate to any internal project where thermal design knowledge can support to achieve Air Cooler h.e. upgrades and improvements.
4) Upon call, to attend Customer presentation meetings to share company products knowledge and technical clarification meetings (remotely or IRL).
5) Upon required, to develop detailed thermal design information for Project execution Engineering team to proceed with heat exchanger mechanical design and/or to customer requirements
6) Upon required, to provide thermal support to product development teams activities
REQUIREMENTS
1) Bachelor degree or Master of Science in Mechanical/Thermal/Chemical/Energy Engineering with 5+ years experience in thermal design activities within manufacturing or engineering companies (preferably with past track records in complex thermal design);
2) Extensive knowledge of thermal design with HTRI software for both one and two phase process fluids
3) high ability to read Process Data Sheet and P&ID
4)Technical Drawing knowledge (CAD)
5) Italian / English languages
6) Team working with continuous high energy level, being part of the Sales Bid Engineering team and Global Air Team
7) Analytical mindset and problem solver
8) Flexibility in developing a thermal design solution in function of different customer demands and expectations
