About the job
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team, focusing on Automation Development and IoT. The ideal candidate will lead the design efforts to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our cutting-edge IoT solutions.
The Senior designer will also work closely with the Design manager in driving the design strategy for our department and implement necessary processes to fulfil our vision to “create a world-class, intuitive user experience for Alfa Laval products, driven by continuous user feedback and insights”
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design process from concept to final implementation for IoT and automation projects.
Involve end users in the design process to understand their needs and improve usability.
Drive a user-centered development of our Design System.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and engineers, to integrate user-centred design principles into the product development process.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that ensure a seamless user experience.
Integrate user feedback continuously to refine and improve the user experience.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and automation.
Implement design activities like user analysis, benchmarking, usability testing, Function and Task analysis, verification.
What you know
You have a bachelor´s or master´s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field combined with 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with some exposure to IoT or industrial applications. We trust you are proficient in designing tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. Fluency in English both written and spoken is a must for this role.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and fluency in any other Nordic languages is a plus
