About the job
The primary focus of this position will be to execute Food System Service & Commissioning within the Oils & Fats, industry. When not engaged in traveling activities, project or system service-related tasks will be conducted from our office in Søborg, in close collaboration with the engineering teams.
Performs start-up and commissioning according to specified procedures.
Participates in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) prior to commissioning on site.
Performs site inspections & installation supervision prior to commissioning activities.
Performs pre-commissioning activities (IO check, vacuum test, dry runs etc.)
Takes part in customer meetings during startup, testing and site activities.
Provides training to operators on customer sites.
Provides remote support to customers.
Performs system service field assignments.
Coaches and mentors less experienced colleagues.
Contributes with continuous improvement activities for system designs & processes.
Prepares reporting from field assignments.
You will assume a leadership role in executing commissioning at customer sites. Therefore, possessing strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish networks across different cultures is essential. This position is based at our Copenhagen office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 100 - 120 days per year.
What you know
To excel in this position, a strong foundation in process knowledge is essential. A relevant education, such as a degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering, is preferred. Previous experience in a comparable role involving system service and commissioning is required. Fluency in spoken and written English is necessary, and proficiency in PLC programming is considered advantageous.
