About the job
In the role as Supply Manager, you will be overall responsible for procurement and logistic on our local site in Nakskov. You will lead and direct our supply chain and logistic strategy to facilitate our customers needs against the lowest possible cost. Other activities within the role are:
Secure to balance resources with the current workload.
Set financial targets and follow up on cost budgets.
Deliver competitive cost base.
Communicate and ensure alignment on projects across the supply chain.
Follow up on closed projects deliverables and continuous improvements projects.
Establish and track relevant KPI's.
Responsible to secure adherence to policy and strategies.
Secure department managers and teams are active partners from bid phase trough project execution.
Contribute to IT synergies, such as data cleaning and preparation for Dynamics365
You will report to the Factory Manager in Nakskov. Some international travle will be required, approximately 10-20 days a year. Alfa Laval offers a hydrid work model with the possibility to work from home when it fits with your tasks.
What you know
We are looking for someone with a proven track record with at least 5-10 years of experience within procurement and negations at an international level, combined with solid management experience. We believe you have a degree within supply chain management. We work in an international environment therefore you need excellent written and oral communications skills in English.
