Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job

As a Team Manager at Alfa Laval, you’ll play an important role in driving customer order execution and ensuring our priorities - safety, quality, delivery, and cost - are met every day. You’ll report to the Unit Manager, and be the first line manager for Team Members and Team Leaders, coordinating between processes and support functions to keep our operations running smoothly.

Your impact will be felt across the organization as you:

  • Lead and inspire your team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
  • Own and drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost for your area
  • Ensure quality through SOP audit dialogues and execution of SOPs
  • Be present on the shop floor, driving team and individual performance
  • Manage your own cost account (P4) and make decisions within your financial authority
  • Lead performance and improvement meetings, and act as the link between the factory and support functions
  • Control quality, manage deviations, and address line stops
  • Communicate relevant information to your team and set clear, actionable targets
  • Conduct audits according to ALPS and take corrective actions as needed
  • Delegate tasks, set salaries within the local framework, and make key operational decisions
  • Collaborate with employees, Team Leaders, Unit Managers, support functions, suppliers, and unions where applicable

What You Know

  • Technical education or equivalent knowledge
  • 2–4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Experience with improvement tools such as 5S, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
  • Understanding of production finance
  • Ability to conduct audits and implement corrective actions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to drive results through people
  • Fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken.

Who You Are

You are a result-driven leader who thrives on being present and engaged with your team. You believe in open communication, high integrity, and leading by example. You value diversity and inclusion, and you’re passionate about fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can grow. Adaptable and proactive, you’re always looking for ways to improve processes and support your colleagues. Your commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and making a positive impact sets you apart.
