VACANCY FOR IOT TECH SUPPORT ENGINEER

Our team is expanding alongside our customers, and we are looking for a new member to be part of our team to support and provide service for the IoT solutions and platform at Alfa Laval. We need a dynamic Helpdesk professional with experience in resolving simple to complex technical issues as a first line of support. The candidate should be an expert in Service Now ticketing systems, diagnostics techniques, troubleshooting, solution driven and implementing innovative support strategies to drive organizational efficiency.

The position / About the Job:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management & Resolution
  • Customer support (Offline and Remote)
  • Service Now
  • Multi-Platform Technical Troubleshooting
  • Change Management & Implementation Support
  • Microsoft Azure Services monitoring and management

Knowledge:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Who Are You?

  • 5 + years of IT Helpdesk experience with good problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts and solutions to non-technical users.
  • Effective time Management and Prioritization, Adaptability and Flexibility, Active Listening and Feedback Incorporation.

Skills:

  • .NET framework
  • SQL database – Meta and Influx series is a Plus
  • API management
  • Microsoft Azure Services and platform - Serverless apps and functions, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Repos.
  • Basic Networks, Network Administration and Maintenance
  • Good to know Linux and Unix computing.
  • Good to have experience with edge computing.
