About The Job
In this role, you will be owning and developing the business of Industrial Heat Exchanger (HEX) technologies within defined Industrial Foods applications. You will work closely with sales companies across regions to identify and prioritize opportunities, recognizing that market dynamics and customer needs vary globally. Acting as a commercial focal point, you will provide managerial input on global trends shaping demand and ensure alignment between strategy and execution across the organization. Your key responsibilities include:
Responsible for the global sales of Industrial Heat Exchangers for applications in the food industries
Increasing the global opportunity pipeline in line with Business Unit growth strategy
Creating clarity of direction and ensuring strong collaboration with sales companies
Securing effective collaboration with Service and Execution teams within the Business Unit and across central functions
Building the competencies and structures needed to scale the business, including education and operational setup
Driving business opportunities from identification through order intake
Forecasting and budgeting to support predictable and sustainable growth
At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position can be at any of our European and UK offices, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 20 – 30 days per year, + 45 days in Lund if not working there.
What You Know
You bring 5+ years of experience in technical commercial sales, combining a strong sales drive with the ability to create clarity, focus, and momentum in a global, matrix organization. You are a confident communicator who thrives in collaborative, agile environments and is motivated by delivering results through teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
University degree (MSc or equivalent) from a technical or commercial university
High sales focus with a proven ability to drive growth
Strong communication and influencing skills
Experience creating structure, clarity, and direction
Team-oriented mindset, inspired by agile ways of working
Comfortable working in a international matrix organization
International sales experience
