About the Job

We are looking for a Quality Control & Technical Support specialist for our Service Center in Madrid. In this role, you’ll ensure technical excellence, support our teams, and maintain the highest standards in repair and maintenance operations. 

Main responsibilities:

• Technical support: decision-making and support to the people of the Madrid Service Center and other departments of the organization in technical aspects:

o Develop new processes, tools and technical skills in the team.

o Be the technical expert of the Madrid Service Center and other Service Centers of the Alfa Laval group.

o Be the technical liaison between the Technical Assistance in the field and the Service Center.

• Quality Control: monitor and ensure that repair procedures are compliant with Alfa Laval standards and applicable

regulations.

• Manage customer complaints (Claims): registration, investigation, analysis and corrective plan.

• Maintenance plan: define and manage the maintenance plan for equipment and tools in the workshop. Follow-up

of this plan.

• Measurement and testing protocols: Ensure the correct execution of tests, calibrations and precision controls on

repaired equipment.

• Document management: review technical reports, quality certifications and maintenance records.

• Continuous improvement: identify opportunities for process optimizations, in collaboration with the team in the

implementation of improvements under the ALPS methodology. Promoting continuous improvement initiatives with

the leadership of the Team Manager.

• New projects: support in the implementation of initiatives to modernize procedures and adopt new technologies in

the service.

What you Know

Training, knowledge and certificates:

• Technical or Higher Engineering in industrial branches (Mechanics, Electronics, Materials or similar) or

professional studies in industrial branches.

• Knowledge of quality standards applied to industrial maintenance and repair (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).

• Experience in interpreting drawings, measurement protocols and use of quality control tools.

• Knowledge of Alfa Laval equipment is an asset.

• Training in continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is an asset.

• Language: English and Spanish required and French is an asset.

• Office automation at medium-high level (Office 365).

What you Bring

• Minimum 3-5 years in similar positions in industrial or service environments.

• Expertise in the repair of decanters and heat exchangers

• Experience in maintenance, repair or production workshops.

• Management of technical documentation and review of reports.
